I, too waited awhile (51) before purchasing another bike. I had ridden in the 60s and 70s, but stopped......God knows why!
Anyway, the Savage is a great bike. My only problem so far (2 years) is that damned oil leak that many Savages seem to develop. As i purchased the extended warranty, I'll bring it in at the end of the season.
